John & Scott + 8

This is going to be the name of the next BIG reality show! HA HA. Stacey, Jen, and Ann left for Williamsburg for an overnight girls trip, so the husbands were left behind with all the kiddos. To help, our neighborhood held a Fall Festival this weekend and Scott brought his three kids, while we also watched 2 of our friends kids, plus our three, and took all 8 kids around with us. All the kids did great and we managed to have a really fun time! There was a moon bounce, face painting, caricature artists, a horse drawn carriage, and free food and beer. Thank goodness for the beer! HA LOL.....

The developer has truly done an amazing job with this neighborhood. With all the things they have done, makes us realize just how much we love living down here. The close knit community, the sidewalks, the neighbors, everything.... it truly has become a great place to live and we are so thankful and feel lucky and blessed to be here. We really have met and made some great friends here.

Afterwards, we went to a local pizza shop to pick up some fresh dough to bring back to the house and made our own fresh homemade pizzas, which turned out great. Making the pizzas reminded me of my college days working at a pizza shop. It also reminded me of my desire to own one someday. "Ladysmith Pizza & Pub" or "Broughton's Bistro"...which one sounds better?!

Below are some pictures I took of the kids and the caricatures that were done of the three kids! We were amazed at the accuracy of the drawings!
