First Grade Begins!

Today, Jack and Caroline were off to first grade! They woke up this morning very excited and looking forward to their new teachers, meeting new friends, and seeing old friends. We were just as excited for them. I just hope the excitement and anticipation of the new school year continues with them for the next 11 years! HA. Getting ready this morning definitely brought back a flood of memories for both Stacey and me of when we started first grade (many years ago!). We hope and pray that the school year will be a good year for both of them. Looking back, you suddenly realize how quickly the school years go by; it's just literally a blink of our life that we spend in school.

We certainly hope that Caroline, Jack and Lauren (who still has a few more years) will enjoy school and learn to have fun. Lots of memories are made in school.

We hope all their other friends starting school today have a GREAT first day!
