We hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend! We celebrated the 4th with lots of great friends and family. The day started off at church, followed by a birthday party at our friends, whose daughter turned 2. Afterwards, we came home to begin setting up for a neighborhood block party. We had a blast, as always. Great company, great friends, and great food. We cooked a bunch of pizzas on 3 grills and each one turned out yummy. I think we found a pizza recipe for the family. WOW!!
The kids had a good time playing with the neighorhood kids. We pooled our fireworks together and had our own fireworks! Obviously not the big ones, but these were enough to entertain everyone, young and old. Overall,it was a great day and found ourselves blessed to be with great friends.

I can't get over those pictures of Lauren - when did she switch from baby to big girl! Oh my gosh, so much hair and so tall. She's adorable and so grown already. Love the 4th pics!
