We arrived in Vermont after a very LONG train ride from DC -----14 hours. The train left Union Station at 7:30am and we finally arrived in Burlington at 9:30pm. For the most part, the kids did exceptionally well. Lauren finally couldn't take it anymore and had a meltdown literally about 2 hours prior to us arriving. The last 2 hours were not fun, but we made it. From what we heard, we were probably better off taking the train anyway due to the weather. Flights were delayed or canceled and road conditions were pretty bad. I still recommed the train though.
Looks like we will be getting a white Christmas after all! There is already over a foot of snow and it is beautiful. More is coming!! Time to take the kids out in the snow.
