Happy Easter family and friends! We hope all of you had a blessed holiday. This weekend was jammed pack with kid-friendly activities. The kids are officially on spring break this week! Friday evening was supposed to be a Daddy with J&C evening. I had planned an evening of taking the kids to Caledon Natural Area for an Owl Prowl event. Caledon puts this on each Spring and Summer during the full moon. You hop on a wagon and go through the forest to explore and look for owls. We were looking forward to it. We were on our way when Stacey called to tell me it was canceled due to a storm coming. So, I took the kids out for ice cream.
Saturday the neighborhood held its annual Easter Egg Hunt and that was fun. J&C got to grab a few eggs. It was short-lived because of the rain.
Sunday was church services followed by a nice dinner gathering at Pops & Gigi's house. yummy!
Praises that my parents and sister arrived back home safely after a wonderful vacation in CA visiting my brother and his family!
